Normal: Most likely after your cervical biopsy your doctor used Monsel's solution (Ferric Sub sulfate 20%) which is an iron solution that can help to stop bleeding. It can cause an orange discharge that smells metallic. If you get a fever or foul smelling discharge, call your doctor because THAT could be an infection.
