My doctor ordered a urine cytology test due to hematuria. he ordered it done on 24 hr urine sample. lab says not 24hr test. who's right?

Usually: Urine cytology is a one time test, where you send a sample immediately to the cytology/pathology lab without having to collect 24 hours worth of urine.
