A member asked:

Can being on birth control too long cause trouble getting pregnant? if yes how long should a person be on it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: There is no evidence that prolonged use of oral contraceptive pills will make it harder for you to get pregnant. However, in a normal women, the chance of getting pregnant in any given month is only 20-25% so it can take awhile in some couples. Best wishes!
