Impossible to say: There are numerous possible causes. GYN and abdominal issue such as appendicitis are possible. Have the issue evaluated. If the pain is significant, go to the ER.

Ovarian cyst?: Inflammation of the ovarian lining preparing for ovulation may result in cyst development and resultant pain which may be on lower abdomen on either side. Try OTC anti inflammatory drug like Ibuprofen for a couple of days. See your physician if symptom persists. Feel better:)
