Mri : I believe further investigation is needed. If for no other reason peace of mind. MRI is ideal to see if is a lipoma a fatty tumor or something else. The fact that it has changed is of note. Best visit your doctor and discuss what to do next

Physical examination: You need to make an appointment with your family doctor/internest to have the lump on your shoulder physically examined in person. The lump could be one of several things. It is probably benign (not cancer), but needs to be taken care of if it is getting bigger.
