Use condoms!: Prevention is much better yet! Always use condoms! Also ask your Dr about PReP and Truvada (emtricitabine and tenofovir). Also consider the value of honest communication between intimate sex partners - it's only a commitment to oneself and dignity, not mushiness if you don't like that sort of thing. Periodic tests may still make sense, but fewer would be needed. Best!
