Yes...: Lyrica (pregabalin) appears to have an inhibitory effect on voltage-gated calcium channels thereby reducing the synaptic release of several neurotransmitters to reduce neuronal excitability in the pain signaling pathways. Stated simply, it appears to block neurotransmitters active in the pain signaling pathways.

Lyrica (pregabalin) mechanism: Its main mechanism of action appears to be antagonism of NMDA receptors and calcium channel blockade. It causes hyperpolarization and prevents the generation and transmission of an action potential and pain blockage. Hope it helps.
