I had diarrhea yesterday morning 3 times, it stopped and it happened again at work once; i took pepto bismol and the diarrhea stopped completely, yay! but now i have this full feeling and my stools are black, why? i'm a little nervous about this.

Melena: Black stools may be due to the bismuth in peptobismol, but one can never make this assumption until the stool has been tested for the presence of blood, which is the more common cause. In your case it is probably the PB, but best to go and be tested. Very easily done.
