Blood in spit: Vomiting violently sometimes causes small tears in you esophageal muscosa which bleeds and you can see the blood in your spit like you described. If the bleeding stopped then it should heal automatically just stay away from smoking and drinking for sometime. If you are still bleeding alot of blood then you should go to the nearest ER
