I have been taking 5mg of lexapro (escitalopram) for two days now and have not experienced any side effects. will they pop up later or am i potentially in the clear?

Adverse effects of : Lexapro (escitalopram) & other SSRI's can occur during the first week of treatment or as doses are titrated up to achieve maximum effect or maximum recommended adult daily dose.

Lexapro (escitalopram): At this low dose you are so far fine. If side-effects appear at higher dose, they are usually transient & fade away. Talk to your doctor if any appear.
