See below: Technically, it means that you did not have any Stage 3 non-REM sleep during your study. Practically speaking, however, it is most likely a reflection of the fact that people do not get a "normal" night sleep during one night in a sleep lab. It is not unusual to see no deep sleep, and even no REM sleep, during a first night in a sleep lab.
