ADD: People who have Attention Deficit Disorder often do struggle educationally and are under-achievers compared to their actual ability. Usually they can focus well on things that they find interesting or pleasurable but not on all the different and sometimes uninteresting subjects they need to learn. Good for you for thinking about this. Getting diagnosed & treated for ADD can make a big difference!
