I am 1 week post-op on a hysterectomy. i was put on cipro (ciprofloxacin) and flagyl. my muscles are extremely tense now. is this normal?

Tense muscles: this is not common reaction to either med. it may be that you are tense because your activity level has gone down after surgery. make sure you are getting adequate gentle, low-intensity, low-impact activity such as walking and stretching. stay hydrated.
