Not likely: When you here about blood clots leading to death in patients, these are typically clots in the deep venous system; and so a fracture in the toe is usually not associated with a deep clot; although immobility from the fracture itself is a risk factor. If you develop swelling that invilves more of the foot or leg, or develop any chest pain or shortness of breath I would sure be seen in an emergency
