Currently on antibiotics for a uti, but still having headaches and i'm thirsty alot, what could be causing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly infection: If you are having headaches and feel thirsty in setting of a known infection, you may be dehydrated and need to work on your fluid intake. However, continued infection with organisms that may be resistant to the antibiotic that you were prescribed can also result in such symptoms. It is important to make sure that the medication you are on is suitable to treat the UTI. Talk to your doctor.
