UTI: In females, it may indicate a vaginal infection or contamination from vaginal secretions. If UTI symptoms persist, sometimes an antispasmodic will help to relax the bladder.

Many things: Sterile pyuria is caused by many things, TB is the worst answer, and very uncommon. A complete urinalysis, urine gram stain, ultrasound of kidneys, bladder may be helpful. Rule out hematuria, and proteinuria. Rule out tumors, cysts, stones. An AFB smear could be needed. See your doctor.
