Not helpful: There is no evidence for coenzyme q10 in dementia. It won't cause any problems, but it is likely a waste of money for the dementias, at least with our current understanding.

Vascular Dementia: Vitamins and supplements will help the overall heart condition and circulation. As per the history of stroke, vascular dementia is a very difficult to treat illness and requires consideration of many different medications. A neurologist or neuropsychiatrist would be able to prescribe medications to improve the symptoms of memory loss, loss of performance and aphasia. Please do make a consultation.
