Morning after pill: The emergency contraceptive pills are hormonal and alter your cyclic hormonal balance causing irregular bleeding. That bleeding differs from woman to woman and differs depending on where in the cycle it is taken making the bleeding unpredictable. This is normal, however, if it is heavy and lasts more than 8 days or is associated with more than normal pain, you need to be seen to rule out infection

Check preg test: Plan b is essentially a large dose of Progesterone hormone designed to mess up the normal hormonal balance to block or delay ovulation. ItregulaR periods after are common. Important to check a preg test to make sure it worked and then schedule a visit with your obgyn to start more effective long term birth control.
