Fairly Normal: Isolated bloody nose is usually nothing to be concerned about. Common, especially during the winter months when the air is dry. Also, curious 9 month olds have a tendency to stick their finger up there, which could have contributed. As long as there is no concern for a foreign body and the bleed was self-limited there is little to worry about. See pediatrician for recurrent or persistent bleeds.
