Yes: Yes. I would divide your calcium supplement to be taken with meals. Depending on diet, I will often recommend 500mg with breakfast and dinner. I also recommend calcium citrate or a chelated form of calcium to avoid stomach issues and for good absorption. You might also consider Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). I routinely recommend 2,000 IU per day but get a lab level and discuss with your dr.
