It still could be: viral, but also could be a contact reaction. Any new foods, clothes, soaps, detergents? Is she on any medications? Have you traveled anywhere recently? Any other symptoms? If it's not going away and especially if new spots are appearing, I would have it re-checked by your daughter's doctor or a dermatologist.
