I had a hysterectomy in 2012 but have my ovaries. i've been having abdominal psin and was told ruptured cyst, i've seen no blood. is this normal?

Still active ovaries: Your ovaries are still present and functioning and can produce ovulatory functional cysts that can "rupture" and cause abdominal pain. If an ultrasound or exam showed the ovarian cyst when you had the abdominal pain and then "ruptured" and the pain spontaneously went away-Great! There will not be vaginal blood present until possibly later if estrogen withdrawal post cyst bleeding occurs.
