is it okay to skip a sugar pill and start a new pill pack, it's my last pill, but i want to change the days of my period flow. please help. ?

Yes: many patients shorten their cycle length by taking fewer than needed blanks in the pack and starting early. You may be able to eliminate your period completely by starting a new pack on day 22 each month as well, though it doesn't stop completely for everyone and you usually have some irregular bleeding for a couple cycle packs
