Dry eye syndrome : Dry eye syndrome is usually a chronic problem. The symptoms can be helped by different treatment modalities but typical not cured. I suggest an appointment with your ophthalmologist for evaluation of your tear film for possible treatments.

It is not curable: there are many ways to improve and prevent it from getting worse. Artificial tears, oral supplements for example omega 3/ flaxseed as well as punctal plugs are just a few options. Dry eye syndrome can be mild to severe. there numerous ways to best diagnose it and treat it.
