I have a pretty severe burn from my gerd in my throat and ostacious tube. what can i do to relieve the symptoms of the burn?

GERD: if you do not have an established diagnosis of Gerd, then I would recommend that you take chewable antacids, such as Tums, (calcium carbonate) whenever you have the burning. If you have the burning more than three times a week, See your doctor. Antireflux measures, such as tilting your bed, avoiding foods which cause Gerd, and avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and smoking are also important. Good luck.
