No worries: There is no problem with taking two 21-day packs of birth control pills back to back in order to miss your period once in a while. There is no reason for concern, this will not affect the effectiveness of your birth control. You should be able to do this 2-3 times a year without problems. Avoid missing two periods in a row (i.e. don't take 3 packs back to back. Enjoy this month off.
