I am on 30mg mirtazapine dr wants to introduce 10mg amytriptoline for pain are these two tablets ok together?

Yes: You can expect a little more sedation and potentially some side effects from the amitriptyline that you didn't have from mirtazapine. For example, you could get some dry mouth and maybe a little constipation, but the amitriptyline dose he proposes is low. Even though it is low, amitriptyline at that dose has been shown to be helpful for chronic pain, more so than mirtazapine.
