It might: you also need to consider what caused it to happen in the first place, and be sure to change what you do or how you work. there are several other conservative measures you can do, but if symptoms worsen or change you should seek medical attention.

Yer An Old HandAt It: Only one way to find out.Try it. It works for some, not for others. Theoretically, it keeps your wrists from flexing too much (if you do that in your sleep) which would compress the nerve(s). For others, the splint is just a nuisance and doesn't help much, if at all. Generally helps during the day if you use your hands and wrists a lot. As far as progressing , it's not usual for CTS to regress

Probably not: Here are 2 websites I recommend -- for complete relief from CTS. First is www.flextend.com, which explains a series of stretching exercises that invariably help when diligently performed. They also sell a device that enhances the benefit of the exercises--but it is not necessary. Second, is www.NewGrip.com--for an inexpensive set of foam palm protectors to wear while driving, gripping, etc.
