Scientific Rx: Topical benzoyl peroxide and/or topical retinoic acid are your best friends. If you're not clear in a few weeks, your physician can add prescription-strength Rx that will work though it'll require some experimenting. Acne's unrelated to diet (mostly), hygiene, lifestyle, sex, etc. It'll remit on its own and you must manage it until then. Best wishes.

Acne: Wash face w gentle cleanser 2x/day & use oil free products. No oily hair or heavy foundations. Try not to pop pimples. Avoid touching face (cradling chin in hands). Remove makeup before bed. Shower after strenuous exercise. Consider OTC products (salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide). Retinoids/ comedone extractor can be helpful for black heads. If > mild acne see dermatology.

SeeSee derm: Over the counter you can only get salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. If these don't control the acne you will need to see a dermatologist to discuss treatment options.

Acne: Acne management is multi-factorial. There are many over the counter preparations that may be helpful. In addition, diet modification by decreasing fatty/fried foods, and drinking plenty of water may also be helpful. Wash your face twice daily. Avoid touching your face. Exercise regularly. If these do not improve your situation, seek medical attention with a dermatologist. Hope this helps!

Acne: First of all, cut out all nuts and peanut butter, stop eatling chocolate, and cut way down on dairy products. Wash with a scrub like neutrogena acne wash; apply a benzoyl peroxide cream or lotion morning and evening; and if doesn't show any improvement in a couple if weeks, see a dermatologist. He or she will probably prescribe an oral antibiotic for you.
