Yes they can: Active adrenal tumors can secrete epinephrines which can cause episodes of fast heart rate with high blood pressure and flushing when you may feel short of breath. There are also adrenal tumors that are benign and don't secrete anything or cause any symptoms. There are blood and urine tests that can check if there is a problem.

Unlikely: There is a very rare adrenal tumor called a pheochromocytoma which may cause recurrent episodes of rapid heart rate and sweating but also a moderately to very elevated blood pressure. Unless you have a family history of this, it is more likely that your symptoms have another cause but if you haven't see a doctor lately and had your blood pressure checked you should do so.

Rapid heart rate: Any shortness of breath and rapid heart rate requires rapid attention. I would start with a visit to the nearest Emergency facility. Hope all goes well.
