Good plan: There are no set meal plans for infants, probably because they will determine how much they would like to eat. If your infant is growing well, appears satisfied with his food then you are on good plan for your baby. At this age most calories will continue to come from formula or breast milk while you are introducing her to new foods.

It doesn't matter: Aside from not feeding anything at night, it doesn't matter what the feeding schedule is. At 6-9 months, a baby gets most of his nutrition from breast milk or formula (don't need to count the total ounces). Solid foods are for fun, for experience, and for the variety. 2-4 oz food at 3 times a day works fine. Using a high chair, and feeding at the dining table at meal times, helps form good habits.
