A member asked:

After an adrenaline rush (for no particular reason) is it normal to feel shaky and shiver uncontrollably? if so, why does this happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: adrenaline (epinephrine) is the body's way of getting ready for "fight or flight". It produces a heightened state of nerve and muscle activity and then takes a few minutes to resolve after the "flood" has subsided.
