Failed larascopic pyeloplasty what happens next. does it mean more surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Has there has been follow-up testing suggesting that emptying from the kidney is still impaired? Key questions: are you having continued symptoms (pain, UTIs, stones)? If no symptoms then short term follow-up (within 6 weeks to 2 months) can be done to see if drainage any better. If symptomatic, other options (laser incision, redo pyeloplasty) may be needed. Talk to your urologist about options
