Anxiety: It's is safe to take a second pill. But it sounds like the meds are not working as well because you have been on them a long time. I think your brain might be tolerant to the clonazepam if your anxiety is worsening. Pls follow up with your doctor.

Talk to your doctor: and/or pharmacist. Benzodiazepines are NOT the best long-term choice for the treatment of anxiety in most patients, particularly younger ones. Treatment of anxiety can be through psychotherapy, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well as through a variety of antidepressants that do not cause physical dependency and tolerance, as benzos do. Taking a med an hour early usually no problem
