See doctor: This can be something simple, such as an infection or cyst, or it could be concerning like a growth or cancer. Generally testicular cancer causes the testicle to get hard and solid feeling with or without pain. Pain alone can also be due to a simple cyst, or other non worrisome issue. The only way to be certain is to see a doctor and possible to get an ultrasound.
