Colon Cancer: This question could be answered by the survival rate after 5 or 10 years at the time patient is diagnosed with colon or rectal cancer. The pathologic staging of the tumor at the time of diagnosis remained the most precise prediction of the 5 years survival rate which could varied as 93% for stage I to 8.6% for stage IV. Consultation with oncologist is recommended.
