Right track: Stopping smoking was the most important thing you could do. To be honest you could undergo lung function testing to get a sense of how smoking may have changed your lung mechanics, but unless you are having symptoms there probably isn't anything more that you need to do. Just stay away from the cigarettes as best as possible, and avoid second hand smoke too. Don't forget to exercise.

Time will tell.: It's doubtful that you would have done any dramatic harm by smoking for only two years, but it's still possible of course. Time will tell if you've done damage. If you're worried, don't start smoking again. Let your health concern motivate you to stay away from those cigarettes for good.
