Almost the same: An angiogram is generic meaning, a study of blood vessels, but is typically used almost synonymously with arteriogram. A venogram is when you inject dye to study veins (veins carry blood back to your heart) An arteriogram is when you inject arteries the blood vessels that carry blood from your heart to various body parts.
