What's the difference between an angiogram and ct scan?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A CT scan: Is performed without and/or with intravenous contrast/dye and evaluates the entirety of the body part being imaged. An angiogram is performed with intravenous contrast and directly evaluates the blood vessels.
