Dont take with dr: Do not take Clomid (clomiphene) without medical advice. Clomid (clomiphene) is a serious medication and women with pcos may develop a condition called ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome. Also you would be at risk of having multiple pregnancies if not monitored properly.

PCO infertility: Clomid (clomiphene) works at different dosages with different patients. You start with 50mg, but you must evaluate the ovaries with each cycle to see if it works. You can get overstimulation with it and could cause pulmonary edema or even death. I professionally recommend that you follow up the gyn or reproductive endocrinologist. Realize that Clomid (clomiphene) is ususlly not covered by insurance and it is very expen.
