Itchy?: This sounds like it might be contact dermatitis.... your skin may be reacting to something it came in contact with, like poison ivy, metals, detergents, etc. If it is itchy, try hydrocortisone 1% cream. If that doesn't help, or it is very warm, painful, spreading, or draining pus, it may be infected and you should get it checked by a doctor.
