Difficulty breathing: Can be asthma or heart .Since you are male 41 years old follow up with doctor and get EKG, stress test , echocardiogram Get a PFT to test for asthma . Do they know why you fainted as a child? was it cardiac? Could alos be gastritis/ reflux which may respond to ranitidine/ prevecid. Even if respnds to prevecid/ ranitidine get a cardiac work up
