?from trauma: If this lump formed after trauma to the forehead it sounds like a hematoma(blood collection) which is treated with cold applications for 48 hours and then warm compresses to help dissolve the clot. If no trauma caused the lump, it may be a cyst. Your physician could diagnose it in any event.

Sounds like a pimple: Deep pustular pimples are larger than superficial ones hurt since they are inflammatory and fill with pus. Warm compress might help it resolve faster, but not much else to do other than wait for the pus to become visible, when it can drain.
