Mgt: Its generally well tolerated and safe. It is effective in shortening the course of the illness, if used early in the illness. Continue to follow your asthma action plan during a viral illness. If your asthma worsens, please follow up. Virtual appts available as well.

Well tolerated: The most common side effects are nausea & vomiting. Uncommon side effects include insomnia, vertigo, seizure, and neuropsychiatric events.
