In your experience how safe and well tolerated is tamiflu for a child aged 8?(resubmit bc i mistakenly said flumadine (rimantadine) before).

Mgt: Its generally well tolerated and safe. It is effective in shortening the course of the illness, if used early in the illness. Continue to follow your asthma action plan during a viral illness. If your asthma worsens, please follow up.

Well tolerated: The most common side effects are nausea & vomiting. Uncommon side effects include insomnia, vertigo, seizure, and neuropsychiatric events.
