Klonopin (clonazepam): Getting off of Klonopin (clonazepam) usually requires tapering, especially if you've been on it "for awhile now." Please share your concerns with your own physician, and consider seeing a psychiatrist to help if you haven't yet. Talk therapy is important in understanding and dealing with anxiety. If other meds are needed, a psychiatrist can help. Please note that hypothyroidism can affect brain function too.

You are in trouble.: It usually takes several years to develop memory problems on clonazepam. Starting to believe things are happening that may not be is more threatening Thyroid status & other meds maybe playing a part. You need expert help now-a psychiatrist with strong medical & detox skills. Check with your MD, hospital psych ward, on line etc., or consult with a Healthtap psychiatrist, but do it now!
