Preg: have you missed your period? Many home pregnancy tests claim to be accurate as early as the 1st day of a missed period. For the most reliable results however, use the 1st voided early morning sample ( most concentrated HCG--that is what the test is measuring for), wait until 1 week after a missed period for greater than 90% accuracy. remember also that there are other causes for missed periods
