Prostatitis: Assuming that you are a 22 y/o male, the most common cause of lower urinary symptoms is prostatitis. urine cultures are often negative with prostatitis. It is a clinical diagnosis which requires examination and careful history taking. Check with a urologist for examination and diagnosis if symptoms persist.
