Mucus: Proteinuria is a fine foam.. Bigger bubbles are extra mucus. Nobody knows why the latter becomes more or less abundant. Hopefully you get a yearly urinalysis at your physician's. Further, most proteinuria is orthostatic and harmless. I'm glad you're health-conscious and hope you'll get reassurance on your next annual physical.
