Yes: oLight red blood from rectum is common from lesions present in the anal canal. This problem varies from an anal cancer which is often associated with groin nodes to internal hemorrhoids which also causses bleeding when firm stool passes over it. Need gastroenterologist to do a careful rectal exam and possible bx if a lesion is noted.
