No: Wounds in different parts of the body heal differently, but it is not normal to have discharge from the wound 2 weeks out from the surgery. You should see your doctor to make sure there is no infection. At that time ask the doctor to clarify why you shouldn't eat beef or milk - they should be able to give you the reason for their instruction.
